This young pup needs a little supervision, to begin with, but not for long!

These dogs are a little older than the pups in the related blog #4. Here you can see that my previous training has a big payoff because while I stand near the one male pup who needs me, I am also managing, through having taught the dogs what I expect of them when I feed them, six dogs. Easy. It wasn't to start with, but it sure is now.

Dogs may need to be reminded about manners and food off and on for the rest of their lives. That is not a problem and is far preferable to allowing them to have conflict with each other, or livestock, at any age.
