Guys, has anyone tried running their own cryptocurrency wallet app? I've been thinking that it would be cool to create something of my own. First of all, I'm tired of having a bunch of different wallets for each crypto, and secondly, I want it to be something more personalized and convenient. A couple of months ago I tried to integrate a multi-currency wallet into my project, but there are such difficulties with security and support for different blockchains that my hands are just falling down. Maybe someone knows where it's better to start or what to pay attention to in order not to lose time on unnecessary trifles?

To be honest, I never thought that cryptocurrency wallet development is so complicated. I've heard that many teams face problems due to the rapid growth of crypto's popularity and lack of experience in blockchain development. I think such discussions can be useful not only for developers, but also for those who are just interested in this topic.
I know what you mean! I had a similar experience. When my team and I were working on the app, it turned out that the most difficult thing was security. Especially if you want to support not only popular cryptocurrencies, but also something less known. The most important thing, in my opinion, is to choose a reliable encryption protocol and pay attention to the user interface. I did a lot of searching for information in my time, and the article about how to build crypto wallet app helped a lot. It describes very well what you need to pay attention to when developing, especially if you don't have a huge team. My advice: it's better to build scalability and security into the project right away, even if it seems complicated.
